The flagship, built to order
The M 800 is Marian's largest platform: a 7.9 m hand-built day cruiser for eight, with a teak deck and fully customisable finishes, made at St. Wolfgang on the Wolfgangsee. It is the boat the rest of the range works up towards, and it is priced accordingly — a listed base of €184,600 is roughly three and a half times the Magic 640, for a hull that is only 1.5 m longer. What you are paying for is joinery, materials and bespoke specification rather than performance per euro.
Eight configurations means the base price tells you little
Marian offers the M 800 with eight motor and battery combinations drawn from a 10–150 kW range. That spread covers everything from a near-silent displacement cruiser to a genuinely quick boat, and the quoted base almost certainly reflects the least powerful end of it. No specific motor, battery capacity, speed or range figure is published for any configuration, so a buyer cannot yet compare the M 800 with production rivals on numbers at all.
Choose it over the M 800 Spyder if you want a defined cockpit and eight seats rather than an open bowrider layout for ten. Insist on a written configuration sheet, with kWh and expected range, before signing.
